SagivTech holds a monthly seminar hosting speakers from within or outside the company.
Last month we had the privilege to have Dotan Kaufman from the Tel Aviv University. Dotan holds BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Tel Aviv University and he is currently pursuing his MSc. under the supervision of Prof. Lior Wolf.
Dotan presented his work on “Temporal Tessellation for Video Annotation and Summarization”. This is joint work with Gil Levi, Tal Hassner and Lior Wolf.
In this work the authors present a general approach for various video understanding tasks. Their approach achieves state of the art results in both video annotation and video summary, and won the Large Scale Movie Description and Understanding Challenge at ECCV 2016.
